About Boundy Performance

Boundy Performance was created to help individuals who are passionate about playing and competing in their sport or have a specific goal they want to achieve. It provides a focussed sports specific approach in developing programmes that are targeted on enhancing performance, training more intelligently to maximise results and to give you the fitness and resilience to continue to enjoy and compete in the sports you love for the years ahead.


With in depth personal experience in running, cycling, skiing and racket sports, the coaching approach combines strength and conditioning principles with sport-specific performance training. The goal isn’t just about fitness – it’s about improving your performance.

About Brian Boundy

Like many people, I assumed that my best sports performances were behind me once I reached my late 40’s. However, by approaching training different, focussing on improving my strength and conditioning, mobility and endurance training, along with intelligent recovery and nutritional planning, I found that my performance continued to improve. 

Since turning 50, I’ve achieved personal bests at every distance from 5km to marathon. My improved functional strength, speed and endurance has also made a big difference in maintaining the edge on the tennis and padel court.

That experience is what shaped the approach behind Boundy Performance – helping people train smarter so that they can continue improving in the sports they love.

Now in my mid 50’s, I’m competing in my first 70.3 Ironman!
